Mr André Psaila has been working with the Central Bank of Malta within the Financial Markets Division since 2008, where he now occupies the role of Chief Investment Officer. Over the years, he participated in various ECB working groups, gave technical assistance on sovereign bond issuances to the Treasury Department, and was also instrumental in the implementation of a front-to-back office Treasury Management system at the Central Bank of Malta. He was a member of the MFSA Board of Governors and the Listing Authority between 2018 and 2021. During the same period, Mr. Psaila was also a member of the MFSA’s Audit Committee. He holds an MSc degree in Banking and Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in Economics from the University of Malta.
